Benefit From An Anti-Aging
Quality Supplement

By the time you finish reading this page, you'll know how to directly confront aging as part of your health regimen.

Let's face it, almost everybody wants to live a long, healthy life. But that requires keeping to a strict diet and exercising regularly.

And those are two of the hardest things to keep up. In the past, I've vowed to eat healthy and given up on it lots of times. I've also just plain gotten bored with exercising at times. It's nothing to be ashamed of; lots of things in life throw us off course.

But still...we have the effects of aging to worry about. Things like:

One of the best ways to address the effects of aging is to "cheat". You can do it by taking a dietary supplement.

It's a lot easier than avoiding all fast food, eating spinach around the clock, and devoting time each day to exercise.

If you're health conscious, you probably already take a daily multivitamin.

That might be a good start -- if it contains the right type of nutrients, and if the manufacturer uses the right delivery system (a delivery system guarantees that nutrients are released in the right place).

A daily nutritional supplement is important because the foods we eat (even if we try to eat healthy) are not nearly as nutritious as they once were. This is a result of modern farming practices and soil being degraded.

Many studies show that even foods like spinach, tomatoes, corn, and potatoes have a great deal less vitamin and mineral content than they did 40 or 50 years ago.

To make matters worse, many respected doctors, scientists, and researchers believe that most chronic and life-threatening diseases are caused by nutritional deficiencies or imbalances.

Aging Well is All About
Balance in the Body

Everything in the body is about balance. Too much of one substance, or not enough of another, can derail your health.

For example, free radical molecules perform some necessary functions within cells. But without the balancing presence of antioxidants, they
"go haywire” and start damaging DNA strands. This DNA damage is one of the causes of aging, but not the only one.

Chronic inflammation, another example, has been linked to a variety of age-related health problems. Arthritis is an obvious one, but, did you know, heart disease and cancer are also caused by chronic inflammation. Natural anti-inflammatory agents in foods like fruits, vegetables, and fish effectively fight chronic inflammation. While other foods, the ones high in saturated and trans fats, cause inflammation. Again, it's about balance.

Nutrients that reduce and prevent inflammation include:

  • flavonoids

  • alpha lipoic acid

  • carnosine

  • turmeric

  • glutathione

  • resveratrol

More About Keeping
The Body Balanced

You may have heard of inflammation and the damaging effects of free radicals. But, have you heard of glycation or methylation? Glycation is even more dangerous to your health than free radicals.

Glycation is complex, but basically, it interferes with the cells' ability to get the amino acids they need from the protein you eat.

The digestive system breaks down large protein molecules into smaller amino acids, which are then re-combined to form different types of proteins. These proteins are needed to create cells, fibers, tendons, ligaments, cartilage, joints, and bones.

When glycating agents, which are primarily simple carbohydrates and sugars, interfere with this process, cellular reproduction slows down.

Methylation is the opposite of glycation; it's essential to life. If it's working sub-optimally, you’ll be at higher risk of heart and liver disease, depression, and high cholesterol.

The body’s methylation process naturally slows down with age, disease, and malnourishment.

To restore the balance, you need these nutrients:

  • B vitamins

  • folic acid

  • tri-methyl-glycine (TMG)

  • SAM-e

SAM-e is especially important.

But, most supplements that contain SAM-e are ineffective, because stomach acid destroys it. A supplement must have an enteric coating that allows it to pass through the stomach and into the small intestine, where it can be broken down and enter the bloodstream.

Your daily multi-vitamin probably contains some antioxidants and B-vitamins, but very few supplements on the market contain antioxidants like: flavonoids, alpha lipoic acid, turmeric, glutathione, resveratrol, B-vitamins, carnosine, TMG and SAM-e.

And enteric coating is rarely included, because it costs more.

The importance of carnosine, resveratrol, TMG and SAM-e is rarely advertised, because...again...they are expensive ingredients.

The result of not using these ingredients is pain, muscular weakness, fatigue, and eventually chronic disease. For example, the amino acid carnosine prevents glycation and is vital to anti-aging.

There is another problem with most vitamin supplements on the market. The antioxidants that they contain are synthetic, not natural. The synthetic versions of vitamins are “similar” to those found in nature, but they are not “identical” and they do not provide the same health benefits.

For example, numerous studies have shown the health benefits of vitamin E in preventing free radical damage, improving circulation, repairing tissue, reducing inflammation, and lowering the risk of cancer.

But researchers fail to duplicate these results when using the synthetic form of vitamin E. In fact, synthetic vitamin E may actually be bad for your health, because it is derived from toxic petroleum byproducts.

What I Personally Take

The bottom line is that most supplement companies use synthetic forms of nutrients. And they don't ensure absorption by using the correct delivery system, which, in most cases, is a tablet with enteric coating.

Here's where things get good. Building a site like this requires a lot of research (even if you think you know something about health). After years, I found one anti-aging supplement that, I believe, offers it all.

To get the nutrients listed so far, as well these nutrients...

  1. Vitamin D.

  2. Minerals... including calcium, magnesium, potassium and zinc.

  3. Trace elements, including iodine and molybdenum.

  4. Enzymes, including amylase and lipase.

  5. Amino acids, including ATP, arginine, lysine, proline and taurine.

  6. Carotenoids (vegetable forms of the A-vitamins).

  7. Herbal extracts like green tea and ginkgo biloba.

...you could take a handful of pills and spend $100s per month.

Or, you can do what I do now and take Xtend-Life’s Total Balance supplement. If you take the recommended dosage, the cost is $48.25 per month and you get 76 different bio-active ingredients.

There is no better value for the money that I have found and I've been taking and researching supplements for a good while.

In that time, I have thrown away bottle after bottle. Not only were they ineffective, some of them, like B-vitamins without an enteric coating, actually made me feel sick until I stopped.

I say stop wasting money...get healthier...and possibly extend your life span. The benefits of each of the 76 different ingredients are explained in great detail at the Xtend Life website. Visit them and learn more. With no exaggeration, it could be the best thing you ever do for your health.
