Skin Firming Exercise For Skin Beauty
A well-rounded skin regimen should include quality skincare products, healthy lifestyle, and...skin firming exercise? Yes, it's true. The face and neck are like other parts of the body; they have the same muscle fibers and connective tissue. Yet we never give them a proper workout.
When we work the muscles in our legs, for example, they get stronger. But does that happen with face and neck muscles? Yes, building them up creates a natural lift.
When a muscle contracts, the blood pumped to that area increases 10x. That’s huge. So, every time you work your face and neck muscles, you bring a fresh nutrient-rich blood supply to the skin. And, at the same time, damaged skin cells are carried away. This rejuvenates skin and makes it resilient.
A Beginning Skin Firming Exercise for the Neck – Kiss the Sky
Here’s how to do it:
- Start by stretching your neck up and back.
- Point your chin straight up (to the sky if you’re outside).
- Then pull your jaw up and forward.
- Pucker your lips as if you’re going to kiss.
- Push your tongue firmly against the roof of your mouth.
- Now hold that position for ten seconds.
- Release back to start.
- Repeat 10-20 times.
This basic exercise thickens, lengthens, and tones neck muscles. To avoid that “turkey neck” look that so often accompanies aging, you need to develop a strong neck. This exercise also helps lessen the appearance of neck cords and overall tightens skin under the chin. People mostly focus on keeping their face looking young, after all, it is what we show the world everyday. But the neck, if neglected, often ends up scrawny and saggy with age. No one wants their youthful face (which took hard work to maintain) connected to an old looking neck. Solution? Do this skin firming exercise each day; it takes only a minute or two. Do it before bed. Make it a habit and your neck will look strong and beautiful. NOTE: A bit of searching on Google and you can add other neck exercises for sagging skin to your routine. To complement face and neck exercises, I encourage you to start using a skin care cream. You probably already do use one.
